Town of Eagle – Spring Weight Limits Now in Effect

 

The Town of Eagle has enacted temporary spring weight limits to protect our roads during the freeze–thaw season.

 

Posted Limits:  

- 8‑ton gross vehicle weight on designated town roads  

- 10‑ton gross vehicle weight on designated town roads  

 

These restrictions are authorized under Wis. Stat. §§ 349.16 and 348.17, which allow towns to set seasonal weight limits to prevent road damage. Violations are subject to penalties under Wis. Stat. § 348.21.

 

Signs are posted and enforcement is active. Limits remain in place until conditions improve and the Town officially lifts them.
