Position Summary
The Public Works Superintendent is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the maintenance, and repair of Town roads, facilities, and public spaces. The Superintendent provides daily supervision of part-time Public Works staff, ensures safety and regulatory compliance, and supports both routine and emergency operations. Core responsibilities include facility and equipment maintenance, snow plowing, park and grounds upkeep, ditch mowing, and road/roadside maintenance.
Qualifications
•Valid Wisconsin Class B CDL with air brake and manual transmission endorsements
•Truck and Equipment mechanical repair and maintenance aptitude
•Ability to reside within a 20-minute response time of the municipal building
•Demonstrated reliability, teamwork, and commitment to safety
•Experience in municipal public works or related fields preferred
Compensation & Benefits
The Town offers a competitive wage and benefits package for full-time employees. Pay Range: $60,000–$65,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
